Harvest & Handbound is a slow, steady space for writer moms who want to tend their lives and their stories with care—rooted in faith, guided by the seasons, and freed from the pressure to rush.
I created Harvest & Handbound as a response to a creative culture that rewards hurry, noise, and constant output. Here, we choose a different way. We honor the rhythms of home and life. We approach storytelling as something shaped gently over time. And we trust that God’s work in us matters just as much as the work we produce.
This is a place where daily life and creative craft are not in competition. Where tending your home, nurturing your imagination, and growing in obedience can exist together. We believe good stories are cultivated, not forced—and that faithful, sustainable growth often happens quietly, season by season.

About Me
I’m Anna Barroso, a Christian, fiction author, book designer, and lifelong student of stories. I write sweet romance and cozy fantasy rooted in hope, beauty, and quiet faith—stories meant to be welcoming to all readers, not just those seeking explicitly Christian fiction.
More accurately, I’m also a wife, a mom, a homemaker at heart, and someone who believes creativity flourishes best when it’s woven into everyday life. Much of my work is shaped by ordinary rhythms—morning routines, shared meals, seasonal living, and the slow accumulation of small, faithful efforts.
